Expeditor

Our client is seeking an expeditor to join the team and support the efficient flow of materials through our supply chain. The Expeditor will be responsible for updating systems and databases with accurate information, resolving supply chain issues, and building strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers. The successful candidate will be a problem-solver with excellent attention to detail and a proactive, inquisitive approach.

Responsibilities as Expeditor

• Update systems and databases with accurate information
• Resolve supply chain issues and find solutions to delays and disruptions
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers
• Support the Production Manager in progressing and managing parts
• Prioritize workloads and understand processes and lead times within a manufacturing environment
• Collaborate with the team to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement
• Demonstrate a problem-solving approach, lateral thinking, and a focus on lean initiatives and continuous improvement
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with all stakeholders
• Support and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment

Qualifications as Expeditor

• Strong PC skills and familiarity with relevant software
• Proven ability to resolve supply chain issues and find effective solutions
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and capabilities
• Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to prioritise and manage workloads
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a positive working environment
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
