Technical Sales Estimator

Location: Lee-on-the-Solent

Salary: £45k

Holt Engineering are seeking a Technical Sales Estimator to join our client in Lee-on-the-Solent. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in engineering, combined with excellent sales and communication skills. The company has been operating for over 70 years and works heavily within the aerospace and oil & gas industries. They are looking to expand their reach to other sectors.

Sales Estimator Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
• Generate and process sales quotes and proposals
• Provide technical support and advice to customers
• Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure timely delivery of products
• Manage the sales pipeline and track sales performance

Sales Estimator Requirements:

• Strong technical background in engineering (mechanical preference)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong negotiation and sales skills
• Proficiency in using sales and CRM software
• Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience in the engineering industry, preferably in a sales or technical role
