GastroFix is a fast-growing, reactive maintenance company specialising in commercial catering equipment across the South of England. We serve clients in care homes, restaurants, and hospitality venues, delivering reliable, first-time-fix service backed by our central helpdesk and operations team.

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and self-sufficient Mobile Catering Equipment Engineer to carry out servicing, reactive repairs, and installation of commercial catering equipment. The role is field-based, with a travel radius of up to 2 hours from your home address. Jobs are dispatched and managed via our central helpdesk and Simpro system.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair gas, electric, and LPG commercial kitchen equipment
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
- Complete installation and commissioning of appliances where required
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety and compliance regulations
- Communicate job progress via mobile and update jobs in real time through Simpro
- Maintain professional customer service with site staff and clients
- Liaise with the GastroFix helpdesk team for parts ordering, technical support, and job scheduling

Requirements
- COMCAT 1, 3, and 5 (essential)
- Valid Gas Safe registration (or eligibility to be added to our company registration)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good electrical fault-finding skills
- F-Gas or refrigeration experience (advantageous)
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and represent the company professionally
