Toolmaker Salary: £17 – £20 per hour
Location: Bournemouth

They’ve built a solid reputation for producing high-quality equipment that supports manufacturing across the globe. Toolmaker Responsibilities:

• Using manual machines like lathes and mills to make or refurbish jigs and fixtures.
• Getting hands-on with problem-solving – looking at what’s needed and figuring out how to make it happen.
• Working with the team to improve how things are made and make sure we get it right first time.
• Using your practical skills – whether that’s fabrication, hand assembly, or tweaking something that just isn’t quite working.

Toolmaker Requirements:

• Someone time-served or traditionally trained on manual machines.
• Confident coming up with tooling ideas and seeing them through from concept to build.
• Handy on the shop floor, with a practical mindset and a real eye for detail.
• A team player who’s not afraid to get stuck in and enjoys finding better ways to do things.
